A neighborhood second-run theatre located on the north edge of downtown Columbus, Ohio. Originally named the Savoia Theatre, according to Phil Sheridan, it opened in 1913. An article in The Columbus Citizen , page 9B, Friday, October 8, 1937, “Savoia Theater Acquired By Central States, Inc. Renamed” details the remodeling of the theater into the Goodale Theatre. The new theater reopened on Friday, October 29, 1937 and later closed in the summer of 1950.
