The Viking Theater was listed in the 1941 & 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed). It had gone from listings in 1950.
In December 2012 the the deserted Viking Theater was a plain white building trimmed in dark red. A protective overhang sheltered a ticket box which was situated between double entrance doors. ‘Viking’ was spelled out across the front in blue trimmed dark red letters.
