Nelsen’s Hall is a historic location on Washington Island, Wisconsin.
Tom Nelsen emigrated from Denmark, and built a dance hall on Washington Island around 1900. The dance hall also served as a theater/movie house for many years. In 1941 & 1943 editions of Film Daily Yearbook, the Hall Theatre is listed as (Closed). It had gone from listing by 1950.
Now open as a dining and bar establishment, the original movie projector is still on display in the dining room.
