Shore Drive-In

The Shore Drive-In opened on August 12, 1954 with “Three Coins in the Fountain” showing on its 115 feet wide CinemaScope screen. It was operated by Louis Gaertner of Baltimore. The drive-in was located behind a liqour store, and the central building was designed in the style of a large suburban ranch house.

The Shore Drive-In was closed in 1978. It is currently the Sagamore Run residential subdivision.

This Drive-in was located at 2823 Mountain Rd, Pasadena, MD 21122.

The liquor store is now 177 Liquors at 2903 Mountain Rd.

Sagamore Way was where the entrance was located. The residences on that street are where the Drive-in stood.
