The Honey Theatre was open in 1940 and was one of two theatres operated by the Collier Circuit, the other being the Regent Theatre. The Honey Theatre was the smaller of the two seating 447. Collier Circuit operated the Honey Theatre until the early-1960’s followed by Gulf States Theatre. It outlasted its sister theatre by almost a decade closing in the late-1960’s. The building is now used for retail.
