From a Facebook posting: On January 8, 1937 a building permit was issued to Saul Firestone owner to build a reinforced concrete slab moving picture theatre, with an estimated cost of $30,000., at 65,67,69 Colborne. The contractor was architectural firm Kaplan and Sprachman.
On October 13, 1938 a building permit was issued to Saul Firestone for an building extension at the rear of 65-69 Colborne, with an estimated cost of $10,000.
Theatre has been closed since before 1980 (when I moved to Brantford.) The building was demolished in 2010.
