Seating just 130, the Melwood Screening Room is the smallest of the three venues operated by Pittsburgh Filmmakers (the other two are the Harris and the Regent Square. Built in 1995 out of an urban warehouse, it also serves as the Filmmakers' administrative offices.

Melwood Screening Room shows American indies, documentaries, foreign films, and classic movies. It is equipped for 16mm, 35mm, and digital projection.
