Gallery photo shows that the Corona operated as Cine-bingo prior to permanent closure.
The location of the Corona cinema at the junction of London Road and St Marys Road is not correct. It was located on the south side of London Road almost opposite the junction with Birchwood Park Avenue It had the Cedars Surgery on one side and the Holy Apostles Catholic church (demolished after a fire) on the other sides.
