Prices as of 2012: Adults – $3.75 and children – $3.25.
The Star is on the WV Historic Theaters Trail.
Correct history: Movies shown at the Star since 1928. Structure originally built in 1916 as a car storage garage. Known as the Berkeley Theater, it was leased by the Alpine chain in 1948. Current decor dates to that period. Became the Lynn Theatre in early 60s until current owners opened the Star in 1977.
