Clonard Picture House

The Clonard Picture House, situated on the Falls Road between Leeson Street and Panton Street, opened on 22nd December 1913 and was considered to be the most elegant of the existing cinemas. It had a 32 feet wide proscenium. When it closed on 30th March 1966, the proscenium was listed as being 36 feet wide. A terrace of modern houses now occupies the site.
