Magnet Cinema Theatre

Located in the St Paul’s district of Bristol. The Magnet Cinema Theatre was opened in 1914, just prior to the outbreak of World War I. It was built for Magnet Cinema Theatre Ltd. In October 1921 it was taken over by W.S. Chamberlain. It was equipped with an Edibell sound system in 1930.

The Magnet Cinema Theatre was closed in 1937 after loosing its chore of patrons in the area’s slum clearance project.
