In the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory, there is a Gem Theatre listed for Franklinville, NY. By 1926 there was an Adelphi Theatre listed for the town, which had 300 seats. It was listed with 340 seats in 1936.

In 1944 it was re-named Park Theatre and with 295 seats it was operated by the Martina Circuit. Still operating in 1965.

The Adelphi Theatre opened on July 7, 1913 on the corner of Elm Street and Church Street. It is unclear from internet map views if the building that is currently on the northeast corner of that intersection is the former theatre.

The Gem Theatre, which was also on Elm Street, had opened in 1907. Both theaters came under the same management in 1914.
