The New Strand Theatre Theatre was opened around 1916. On September 22, 1922 a tragedy occurred killing 1 child and injuring 56 children when the floor of the vestibule collapsed into the basement. It seated 300 and was renamed Lincoln Square Theatre which closed in 1929. The building was still standing but in very poor shape and was demolished around 2017.

This was called New Strand and Melba.

On September 22nd, the floor of the theatre killing one.

Google Maps seems to indicate the building was demolished sometime between 2016 and 2020.
