The Lyric Theatre was listed as open in 1925. This was a silent movie house. In 1931 it was wired for sound and became known as the Community Theatre. The theatre closed in 1938. The building was remodeled in 1945 and reopened as the Center Theatre seating 225. The Center Theatre was listed as closed in 1955.
