The Goodwood Drive-In opened in the mid-1960’s. This was Cape Town’s fourth drive in cinema and on opening was Cape Town’s largest. It was situated adjacent to the Cape Show Grounds.
The Goodwood Drive-In closed in the mid-1990’s and a casino complex is now situated on the site.
