Edgewood Drive-In

Opened in 1951 as the Carmar Drive-In which was owned by Mr. Hugh Gardner who also owned the indoor Carmar Theatre in downtown Neosho. On April 13, 1953 it was renamed the Edgewood Drive-In and had a grand opening. The drive-in had a capaciy of 300 cars and was still listed as open in the late-1970’s. It has since been demolished and a Lowes Home Improvement Store was built on the site.

One of the rare “Architectural Styles – Colonial” for a drive-in. See photos.
