According to Al Lienhardt who is the son of the Glarus Theatre’s builder and operator, his father’s parents operated a theater in the New Glarus Hotel. That might be the one you are referencing.
This house must have been the successor to the New Glarus Theatre, which was in operation at least as early as 1921.
