Osceola Drive-In

The Delta Drive-In Movie was located south of town sitting on the east side of Highway 61. It was opened on March 10, 1955 with Maria Montez in “Cobra Woman”. It was owned and operated by G. Boggs. It was sold to Moses Sliman & William Elias in April 1956. The drive-in was re-opened April 11, 1957 as the re-named Elias Super Drive-In Movie, with Dan Dailey in “There’s No Business Like Show Business”. It was renamed Osceola Drive-In in 1976 and was closed in the late-1980’s.

It has since been demolished and today, all that is left is the faint outline of the drive-in, the ramps, and the foundation for the projector booth/concession stand. However, the screen is still standing.
