Located on the corner of N. Main Street & E. Calhoun Street, the Lux Theatre was open in the late-1930’s. The article listed seating at 290. The 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook gives a seating capacity of 408.
No closing date was given for the theatre but it stated that the old theatre building was the only building still standing on that side of the block, but ias since been demolished

The Lux Theatre has been demolished, now the entrance for the Post Office parking lot.
