1951 - TIME FRAME - Port Hedland Picture Gardens play Charles Chauvel’s “Sons of Mathew” - Pictures' shown during the week-in the Port Hedland Picture/Gardens were as follows: “Mother Wore Tights” starring Betty Grable, “Crimson Key,” “Sons of Mathew” and “Honeymoon Ahead”.“ To add, to the comfort of patrons Fred Hull and Charlie Bayman, owners of the picture gardens, are. busily engaged in erecting a frame work overhead which will be covered by canvas.
