Star Theatre

The Star Theater opened in 1910 at 327 Westminster Avenue [former name of Main Street]. It lasted there until 1921, when having differences with the owner of the building about making improvements to the theater, the manager of the Star Theatre, Mrs. Graham, decided to erect a new 600 seats building for the Star Theatre across the street. This new version was a success and lasted until 1950 when it was demolished to make way for the Vancouver Police Headquarters.
