The Vision is also listed as in operation in the Chicago Tribune’s movie listings as far back as August of 1916.

The Vision must have closed some time between 1957 and 1959, as the last movie listing in the Chicago Tribune for the Vision appears on October 23, 1957, and a brief article from July 27, 1959 talks about National Tea opening a new supermarket at this address.

Across Division St and a few doors east ( W.) (once) stood the HARMONY Theatre, of similar size. Gone since the early ‘50s and that’s all I know.

(Not to be confused with another HARMONY on E. 43rd St.)
