The Kearsley Theatre was designed by architect George J. Bachman, according to Boxoffice of December 10, 1949. The listing also noted that Bachman was part-owner of the theater with T. J. Daly.
Shoeshoe, many of the older theatres had a room at the back of the theatre that had a glass from facing the screen whereby mothers or fathers could take a small baby that was being restless or crying. They could view the movie while trying to settle the child.
Is a Cry Room a baby changing room? i’ve never heard the term.
