The predecessor that KenMc mentioned and the photo link that he posted on 8/26/06 is for the Nickelodeon on Washington as stated in the photo.

There was another Camden Theatre, a nickelodeon, open in 1911. it was located at 4133 N. Washington. It is not listed on CT.

The Camden was owned by William and Sidney Volk of the Minnehaha Theatre Corp. At one time or another the Volks also owned The Nile, The Riverview,The New Ray, The Falls, The Robin, and The Terrace all in the Minneapolis area

A 1942 picture. The theater is visible off to the right behind the trees. Cars are parked in front.
