The Reedy(or Reedys) mine opened about 60km north-east of Cue in 1934. The Open Air Theatre and Hall opened on Lot 57 of the town plan between Chisson Street and Vale Street in(mid or late-1930’s or 1940?). The mine closed briefly during World War II. The Open Air Theatre and Hall was closed in 1949. The mine closed in 1955.

The mine was opened again in the 1990’s, but the town never revived, and there is no trace of where the Open Air Theatre and Hall might have been. There is a plan of the town with a location of the Open Air Theatre and Hall on the wall of the Cue Tourist Office.

Address is Shugrue Street. 250 seats. Closed in(1949?).
