The Federal Theatre was opened 7th November 1911. It is part of the Jervis Bay Royal Australian Naval Base College. The college closed in 1930 and the theatre and surrenounding buildings were opened up to the public and the Federal Theatre began screening films. It was closed in 1960 when the college moved back onto the site.

The Federal Theatre is part of the Jervis Bay Royal Australian Naval Base(Collrge), and opened on 7/11/1911. The base closed in 1930 due the Great Depression. Movie screenings in Federal Theatre started in(circa 1930’s) and ended in(circa 1960?). The Royal Australian navy moved back and reopened the College in 1967(still operating as a College). 307 seats.
