Opened on August 14, 1970, the Valley Fair 4 was one of the first four-plex theatres built in the 1970’s. Located in the Valley Fair Mall in West Valley City next to Taylorsville.
The theater was later taken over by Cinemark and renamed the Valley Fair Movies 9, a dollar theater. In 1987, five small theaters were added on the north side, connecting them with the new food court.
