The Mexico Theatre was opened in 1928 and operated as a Spanish language theatre (initially a silent house). It was operated by Benjamin Aranda Sr. It was still open in 1932, but was listed as (Closed) in the 1933 & 1934 editions of Film Daily Yearbook. It had reopened by 1936, but had closed by 1938.
