Opened in 2001, this twin drive-in located on an entertainment complex in downtown Toronto. Property has gone by a variety of names and owners over the years, including The Docks, Polson Pier.

With space for 500 cars, the drive-in was latterly open Friday through Sunday nights. It also featured a driving range and mini putt. In April 2018 it was decided not to open for the 2018 season. The driving range will stay open.

When The Docks opened in 2001, owned by Jerry Sprackman, it showed movies seven days a week. Now it’s just weekends.

For an update on its complicated, muddy ownership timeline, read this January 30, 2017 article in the Toronto Star.

Unfortunately, it was announced today that the drive-in has now closed: https://www.thestar.com/news/gta/2018/04/11/torontos-only-drive-in-movie-theatre-is-closing.html

Although the drive-in is closed, according to their website it’s still available for rental to large groups.
