Located just around the corner from AUC’s downtown campus and Bab el-Louq Square near Tahrir Square. The Rio Cinema was an open air cinema. It was possibly opened in the 1930’s. The cinema has been abandonded for many years and is overgrown with trees, but there are hopes it may be renovated and re-opened.
