Carrolls Stadium Cinema I & II launched Christmas Day in 1971 with “The French Connection” and “Dirty Harry”. The twin-screen was the first suburban, automated theatre in Green Bay. Each auditorium seated 310. In October of 1981, under Marcus Theatres operation, a third screen was added onMay 25, 1978 creating the area’s first tri-plex.
In 1988, Marcus Theatres extended the Stadium to four auditoriums. Downgraded, the theatre closed as a sub-run discount house called Stadium Value Cinema on November 29, 2001 at the end of 40 years of leasing. Demolished in 2002 for a Mexican restaurant.
