Salt Media at Capital Tower

This one-screen cinema with 227 seats was opened January 17, 2019, by Salt Media & Entertainment in the financial district. By day the auditorium can be utilized by corporate events and by night films with 4K laser projection and Dolby Surround 7.1 sound.

The opening film was “Storm Boy”, an Australian production starring Geoffrey Rush. Salt Productions says it makes and presents inspirational media content that resonates deeply with people all over the world. “We focus on universal themes such as honour, courage, hope, humanity, and family”.

The Straits Times noted the cinema has a no-cash system and higher ticket prices, which its customers would not mind paying due to its convenience in time and travel. Furthermore Tickets are sold online only with no sales at the door and with snacks sold by credit card.
