Tivoli Theatre (first)

This theater opened June 26, 1930, and closed September 30, 1939 (two days after the replacement Tivoli Theatre opened!). Although the building is quite deep, sticking out well past the rear of its neighbors, it is very narrow and it was felt that it was too dangerous in case of fire. The building is currently used by a shoe repair shop, and the upper stories are likely vacant.
