Filmtheatre at the Swiss Museum of Transport

Located in the Swiss Transport Museum (Verkehrshaus der Schweiz) which opened on 1st July 1959. The Filmtheatre opened in 1996 and is home to Switzerland’s largest screen, measuring 62.4 x 82 ft. (19 x 25 m), and regularly presents six IMAX shorts a day, in both 15/70mm and 3-D digital formats.

The website lists the daily screenings and includes screening format for those wishing to see the only IMAX film presentation remaining in Switzerland. There is also a small exhibition of cinema memorabilia, admission to which is included in the price of a cinema ticket.
