Opened as the Victory Theatre, possibly as early as 1911. Sold in January 1922 to Mrs. Pierce Brook who changed the name to Gem Theatre. It was still in operation as a first run theatre in 1957.
Closed prior to 1981 when it became a dentist’s office, which it remained until it burned in August 2014. Facade remains standing in between other buildings, but the structure behind it is heavily damaged and open to the elements.
