Princes Cinema

Located in the Grade II listed Town Hall of 1887 in the County of Northumberland. The Princes Cinema had appeared in listings by 1944 equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system and a 29ft wide proscenium. It was still open in 1959/1960 but was gone by 1962. The auditorium seems to have been at the rear and is occupied by a firm of motor engineers in 2019.
