The Strand Theatre was opened around 1915 (It may have previously been the Bijou Theatre). By 1926 it was operated by the Finkelstein & Ruben chain. It was located on Grant Avenue, across the street from the 1940 built Grant Theatre. The Strand Theatre was still open in 1929, but had closed by 1931. It’s later use was as a garage.
