Located in the district of Wandsbek to the north-east of the city centre. The Nordlicht Filmbuhne was opened as a single screen with 721-seats on 30th November 1950. It was operated by Bruno & Kurt Ellerbrook. In 1954 it was twinned. It was equipped with a Bauer B8 B projector with a Klangfilm soundprocessor.
The Nordlicht Filmtheater Wandsbek was closed in 1960. It was converted into the first big supermarket to open in Wandsbek. It later became a bicycle shop which still operates in 2019.
