Located in the east of city centre district of Rothenburgsort. The Tivoli Theater Rothenburgsort was operated as a variety theater from its opening in 1897. In 1906 Giovanni Premuda was the operator. The first movie screenings took place in 1913. The theater contained a stage and was later equipped with a Klangfilm sound system. In 1920 the cinema was operated by K. Pustow and in 1927 Paul Besse took over. He also operated the Harmonie Lichtspiele in Hamburger Strasse and the Colosseum Lichtspiele at Suderstrasse. (both of these have their own page on Cinema Treasures)

The Tivoli Theater Rothenburgsort was destroyed by Allied bombs in World War II which closed it in 1941.
