Finkenwerder Lichtspiele

Located in the centre district of Finfenwerder. The Tivoli Kino was opened in 1918 and with 200-seats, was operated by Willy Sauerberg. In 1922 it was re-named Elbhof Lichtspiele. In 1937 it was re-opened and re-named Finkenwerder Lichtspiele operated by Oskar Rehr and later operated by Phillip Kaffenberger. In 1940 the number of seats was increased to 500. In 1956 CinemaScope was added and the Ernemann II projectors were replaced by FH 66 projectors by Frieske & Hoepfner and a Klangfilm sound systtem was installed. The seats were by Otto & Zimmermann

The Finkenwerder Lichtspiele was closed in 1962.
