Broadway Kino

Located in the centre district of Neuestadt. The Broadway Kino opened in 1983 and was operated by Hans Joachim Flebbe. Flebbe founded the CinemaxX Multiplex chain and operated a lot of art house cinemas like the Kinos am Raschplatz in Hannover, and in Hamburg the Holi Kino, the Passage Kino at Moenkebergstrasse and the Neues Cinema Steindamm Hamburg, and founded the Astor Film Lounge, which is the first premium cinema chain in Germany. The Broadway Kino was closed in 1992.
