Actually, As I Did Look A Few More Information About It, The Lake Theatre Didn’t Close Before 1963, It Successfully Continued To Run Special Events And Movies Until Mid-1967 And Then It Was Closed.

The Varsity theatre became the lake theatre on May 10th, 1933. Grand opening ad posted.

A private parking lot for the neighboring 15 N. Franklin Building is now on this site. Anchor tenant being the Porter County Prosecutors Office.
