The Gayety Theatre was opened by 1929 with 300-seats. The 1950 Film Daily Yearbook listed the Gayety Theatre with 200 seats. It was still open in 1967.
Boxoffice reported in its January 6, 1969 edition, “Gary Naylor is opening the Lin-Dan Theatre in Hyannis, Neb. The theatre was formerly known as the Gayety and had been operated by Gerald Kaschube prior to its closing about a year ago”.
