After the Fox Theatre in Louisville was constructed in December 1922, the Fox Theatre was opened on January 5, 1923 and was one out of a hand-load of former theatres for the city of Louisville. It was owned and operated by Mrs. J.A. West. It was closed in the 3rd quarter of 1930.
