This was the first of three Merry Widow Theatres to operate of Chouteau Avenue. It was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory. It was closed around 1929 as a silent movie theatre.
It was replaced by a larger Merry Widow Theatre at nearby 1435 Chouteau Avenue (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures)
