Located in the district of Lanferfeld at the address Markt 2, which was later re-named Odoakerstrasse 2. The Astoria Lichtspiele was opened in 1951 and was operated by Erika Morgenroth. The cinema was designed by Dortmund based architectural firm An der Brucke and Wuppertal based architect Ludwig Bingemann. The FH 66 projectors were by Frieske & Hoepfner. The seats were by Kamphoener.
The Astoria Lichtspiele was closed after 1971.
