Bali Filmtheater

The Bali Filmtheater was opened on 28th August 1953. It was designed by architects Konrad Stierhof & Hans Fichte. It was operated by Franz Schnellinger. The AP XII projectors were by Askania and a 4-channel stereophonic sound system was installed. The size of the CinemaScope screen was 11x3 meters. The size of the stage was 11x3 meters. The screen curtains were made of red velvet. In 1961 it was taken over by Harry Schneider. From 1966 it was operated by Ernestine Pietzsch.

The Bali Filmtheater was closed on 31st December 1971. It was converted into a bathroom showroom. It was demolished in 2013.
