Rex Filmtheater Haselhorst

Located in the west of the city centre in the Spandau Haselhorst district. The Rex Lichtspiele was opened on 2nd November 1935. It was operated by Friedrich Betzel. In 1941 it was re-named Rex Filmtheater Haselhorst. After 1941 the cinema was closed due to wartime conditions.

It was re-opened in 1946. In 1956 a CinemaScope screen was installed. The projectors were by Bauer and the sound system was by Klangdilm.

The Rex Filmtheater Haselhorst was closed in 1963 and was converted into a supermarket. By 2008 it was a Penny Markt.
