Located in Holywell, Flintshire, north Wales. The Prince of Wales Theatre and Cinema was opened by 1933 when it was operated by J.F. Burns & M. Clegg. It was equipped with a Cambriaphone sound system and presented pictures & variety. It was listed with 1,000-seats. By 1944 it had been re-named Prince of Wales Cinema and was operated by Paramount Picture Theatres Ltd. It was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. It was still open in 1954 when the seating capacity had been reduced to 650. It had closed by 1963.
