My mother told me she saw James Cagney in Yankee Doodle Dandy at the Red Wing in 1942.

She went alone and walked to the theater by herself. She was 9 years old.

No, it doesn’t matter. I pointed out the clothing store to show that function should be retail.

Does it really matter if it’s a Rite Aid or a clothing store? This building has been retail for years. The function should have been set to retail when this theater was added.

Rite Aid is still listed, but that information could be outdated. The building may also be carved into separate businesses that use the same address.

This was a Rite Aid drugstore. Did the drugstore close?

Number seven on this list is a children’s clothing store that occupies at least part of the former theater:

A Moller organ Opus 3086 Size 2/9 was installed in the Red Wing Theater in 1921 at a cost of $5000.00.
